Community Engagement
LOSSteam MetroWest attends several community events in support of suicide prevention and awareness initiatives. The ripple effects of such a tragic death are far reaching and profoundly life changing for those left behind. Together, we can make a difference and save lives.

"The Massachusetts Chapter of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) is grateful for its ongoing partnership with LOSSteam MetroWest and the collaborative support that has grown over the years. Whether it’s joining an Out of the Darkness Community Walk, hosting a Survivor Day in MetroWest, or spreading the word about our Healing Conversations program, we know we can count on the support of the LOSS Team as valued partners as we work to bring hope to those affected by suicide. AFSP understands the unique needs of those who have lost a loved one to suicide and fully supports the LOSS Team in its efforts to provide immediate crisis support in the aftermath of a suicide. We are happy to have our program materials included in the LOSS Team Resource Binder to offer survivors options for all stages in their healing journey. AFSP is thankful for our continued reciprocal relationship as we work together toward common goals."
